Ask Us Anything — We’re Here to Help
Do I need a referral to bring my pet to Mobius Veterinary Services?
While we encourage a referral from your primary care veterinarian to help ensure continuity of care, anyone is welcome to make an appointment directly. Once your appointment is made, we will reach out to your veterinarian to obtain your pet’s medical records, radiographs, bloodwork, and any other diagnostic test results that will assist us in delivering the highest level of care.
Will the specialist take the time to explain all my pet’s health concerns to me?
We believe it is important for you to have a clear understanding of your pet’s health so you can make well-informed decisions on their behalf. During consultations, our specialists take the time to thoroughly explain each aspect of your pet’s care and are always available to answer your questions. For outpatient procedures, however, the specialist works directly with your primary veterinarian as an extension of their practice. Your veterinarian will continue to communicate with you regarding your pet’s care throughout the process.
Will Mobius Veterinary Services communicate with my primary veterinarian about my pet’s condition?
We believe in a collaborative approach to your pet’s care, working closely with you and your primary veterinarian as part of your pet’s healthcare team. After your pet’s visit, we promptly share detailed medical records with your veterinarian via email to ensure their records are up to date. Additionally, we consult with your veterinarian by phone as needed throughout your pet’s treatment to provide seamless, coordinated care.
What are the costs involved, and do you accept pet insurance?
Costs vary based on the procedure and any necessary diagnostics. After your consultation, we’ll provide a detailed treatment plan and cost estimate. We’re happy to work with pet insurance providers by supplying all necessary documentation to help you submit claims and maximize your coverage. Be sure to check with your provider about what’s included in your plan.
What is your payment policy?
Outpatient visits and consultations require full payment at the time the service is provided. For inpatient services involving certain procedures, you will be asked to sign a medical plan authorizing the recommended tests and treatments. Payment for these services must be made in advance, prior to the procedure.
Do you offer payment plans or delayed billing?
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer delayed billing; payment is due at the time services are provided. While we do not offer in-house payment plans, we do accept CareCredit, a healthcare line of credit that allows for delayed payments on veterinary care. For more information about this financing option, please speak with a team member or visit CareCredit.com.
